Have you ever gazed at a starry night ,the morning sunrise or rain on leaf after a summer shower .If you have and I  am sure that at sometime it has happened - that moment of still appreciation .A sense of calm pervades your being .

I guess nature has  a special way about it when we stop to smell the roses or watch a sunset .Its always there of course -the beauty often unnoticed against of bustle of activity

I recently had a wake up  to the beauty of natural structure and the complexity of beauty around me when I  brought my first amethyst geode .Always wanted on -a really big one -I mean who doesn't !

It sits on my kitchen bench and I have  found myself just staring at it -don't know how long for .It is mesmerising .A moment of  calming and peace that only an amazing creation of quartz crystalline  structure can  facilitate. .

I guess that is the real power of crystals -the sight of them entrances  and   brings you back to your centre of equilibrium.

A lot has been said and written about the metaphysical properties of crystals  but the most important  point is how do you feel when have a natural art  sculpture  close to you .

I recently  started purchase big stones - a 50kg rose quartz -massive .It sits near my door and I glimpse it  at least 60 times a day. Sometimes I even stop just to touch it I t looks so beautiful .And you know ,it does focus me -like at 20 second meditation.

So really, I would not brush off  all the crystal talk as just new age hoe .There is profound   inner truth there. And crystals can be utilised as a doorway to the centre of your soul .

Consider adding a crystal into your home  to improve ambience  .You will thank yourself for it !
